World Commedia dell’Arte Day
For six years, we staged a Mini Festival in London to celebrate this internationally celebrated day. This year we will sadly not be hosting an event, but do check out the photos from last year, shown below.

Viva Commedia!
International Commedia dell’Arte Day is an annual celebration, all around the world. Each year one city becomes the Commedia Capital. In 2025 it is Rome, Italy at Teatro Villa Pamphilj, running across the weekend of 22-23 Feb 2025.
The sixth Mini Commedia Festival took place, in London, at Sands Film Studio in 2023.
The Mini Commedia Festival is a showcase of creative talents; an event for all those who are passionate about reinvestigating and reinvigorating the Commedia of the past, recreating Commedia for today and securing Commedia’s place in the future of theatre.

SAT is a cultural association formed to represent Commedia dell’Arte practitioners around the globe. SAT curate an archive that is:
“The only official representative of the Commedia dell’Arte practitioners for the collection, cataloguing, preservation and fruition of the materials that document the expressions of the tradition of present-day Commedia dell’Arte. In conformity with the UNESCO guidelines about the Intangible Heritage, the SAT association, namely the same representatives of the tradition of Commedia dell'Arte, act for the conservation and protection of their documentation materials, according to the principle of intellectual property of traditional knowledge”
